Every year, the East Yorkshire Centre chooses a cause close to our community’s heart — and this year, we’re proud to support the Alzheimer’s Society of Hull & East Riding.
🧠 Why This Matters
Dementia touches the lives of so many families — including many within our own Centre. This year, all of our fundraising efforts will go toward sponsoring a new Apprentice Dementia Advisor for our region.
This advisor will be:
A first point of contact for those living with dementia and their families
Someone who can listen, guide, and support people during some of their most difficult moments
A bridge to local services, support groups, and mental stimulation resources that keep people active, informed, and connected
This position will be fully funded by donations — including the incredible generosity of our rally community.
