When you receive your Tesco Clubcard Vouchers if you check out the voucher exchange website, you can purchase 1 admission token to Alton towers for £11.50, these tokens are valid for 6 months from date of issue, so get collecting now

Booking vouchers are available to Centre members to help with booking weekend rallies and dispense with the need to write a cheque for each rally. The booking vouchers have a value of £2.00 each and are available for members to buy in books of 5 vouchers at a cost of £10.00 per book.
If you are not on a rally the booking vouchers are available from the Treasurer at all times. Send your request for vouchers with a cheque to cover the cost and they will be forwarded to you by return.

International Rally Marshall

I thought club members might be interested to know that we co marshalled our first vintage rally in Florida in November 2011 organised by our son Jason. The attendance was good for the first event, as seven outfits turned up from all over Florida. The rally was held over four days on a local campsite in Melbourne on the space coast. You could not have wished for a more interesting bunch of people.
As you would expect the weather was great, and in the evenings we all got together around a camp fire and ate toasted marshmallows and swopped caravanning stories about our different vintage airstreams. Jason and the grandchildren visited us when we marshalled at Pickering in 2010 which gave him the idea for the rally, we are hoping the rally will become an annual event.

The wisdom of the Caravan Club

The Caravan Club Magazine is changing. Many of us rely on the club magazine to look at, browse and even book rallies with not only your centre but other centres. Perhaps you want to look at holiday rallies in advance, well I'm afraid not any more. The club, in its wisdom has decided everyone is "on the web" and if you are not, then you're in such a minority that the Caravan Club think you're not worth bothering about. Well, thats how it seems.
I and many others believe the club has overlooked a huge number of Caravan Club Members, people who travel for long periods without a computer, and of course those who simply don't want a computer. I, like many others use both, I liked picking up my magazine and looking at what other centres are doing without the need to Boot up!
There has been little or no consultation and I for one don't like it, what next?
